The club exists because a bar lasts roughly a month, a cure takes four to six weeks, and those two facts are almost never in sync. A standing box keeps a bar ahead of you instead of behind.

Nothing goes out early. If a scent you asked for is still on the rack, a substitute of the same family goes in and you get told which.

Can I choose the scents in a Soap Club box?
Yes. Every Soap Club plan has a “choose a scent” option alongside “surprise me”. If a chosen scent is mid-cure that month, a bar from the same scent family goes in instead and the packing slip says which one was substituted.
How long does one bar of handmade soap last?
A bar lasts roughly one month of daily showers. Cold-process soap cured four to six weeks is harder than melt-and-pour soap, so it dissolves more slowly — but it still lasts about twice as long if it dries between uses on a draining dish or a saver pouch.
Can I skip a month of the Soap Club?
Yes, from the account page on the live store. Skipping does not cancel the plan or reset your place in the rotation.
What if a bar does not agree with my skin?
Write in and say so. The bars differ a lot between recipes — a tallow bar and a plant-based bar behave differently on the same skin — and swapping to another family usually solves it.
