Tallow, butter or balm
The tallow balm and lotion bar are occlusive: they sit on the surface and slow water loss, which suits hands, elbows and cracked heels. The body butter is whipped and lighter, and absorbs faster. The lip balm and face serum are the two smallest-batch items in the range. Rendered beef tallow appears in several of these because its fatty-acid profile is close to that of human sebum, so it absorbs without leaving a film.
